Pinkfong was founded in South Korea in 2010 by three former game developers. Pinkfong never expected the success of baby shark. Most people think that the word fong in Pinkfong means fox, because of the companies pink mascot, but that is not the case. It actually doesn’t mean anything. One of the founders thought that fong was a fun word. Nowadays they do refer fong to the famous pink fox that you see before all their videos.
